A Week in the Life of Jennifer Tierney
Jennifer Tierney is starring in our very first Cabaret@TheClubhouse this Thursday and we wanted know a bit more about her. Read on to find out more about her daily routine, her work in Wicked, and of course, the Cabaret!

"So it's been a surprisingly hot few days in London town which makes the days a lot more pleasant for us all but not so much for myself and fellow cast members inside costumes at the Apollo Victoria! So I've been making the most of my days ... St James Park had a visit on Friday!
In between shows I have been rehearsing for the gig at Brixton Clubhouse which is very exciting as it's the launch night of the new midnight cabaret slot there! I'm doing songs from artists that inspire me and that I always listen too.... Such as Adele, Alanis Morissette, loads of others... It's really great to get the opportunity to do gigs like this when you are in a show, because the variety keeps everything fresh as a singer and it's always good to do different things I think!
Wicked is a great show to be a part of. I've been here for nearly 3 years and have gained so much knowledge from being in such a massive production. The responsibility to give a good show to 2000 people a night is an awesome feeling and I feel very lucky that I get to do that 8 shows a week, even in the heat :) My role in the show is in the ensemble where I play Glinda the Good Witch’s friend and I also understudy the roles of Elphaba and Madame Morrible. Two completely different characters each with their own challenges but I love playing them both!
Yesterday (Sunday) I went to watch the Phantom 25th concert at the cinema with my partner... What a great night and phenomenal cast! It's so great to see something so special happen through theatre!
Today I've come to work early to go over the gig material and some other stuff as it's a bit of a manic week. So luckily I have the dressing room to myself to crack out a few notes before Thursday!! Tonight (Monday) my musical director Craig Adams is rehearsing with my backing singers at the Brixton clubhouse. And then I will be joining them and the band tomorrow to run through the set list!
Oh I also have a friend Antony Hansen joining me on Thursday evening who was on the BBC1 reality talent show “Any Dream Will Do” to find a Joseph. He is in Wicked with me and will be a treat to hear! So 2 shows on Wednesday and then gig night!
So I hope lots of you reading this can make it to share a night of good tunes and a few drinks after!"
