newsletter of 2011 , wwhich will keep you up to date with
everything that’s been going on at Elegant Entertainment over the
last 12 months and looks forward to an exciting year ahead. As
valued friends of ours, we hope that with the continuation of our
newsletter including features on some of our regular singers, access

This month we will be taking a closer look at one of the venues
where we are proudly a preferred supplier to their corporate and
wedding clients, we feature one of our amazing singers, whilst

2010 was an incredible year for
everyone connected with Elegant Entertainment and we would
like to thank everyone that we connected with over this
period. It has been an exhilarating journey since we started
trading back in 2007 having provided entertainment in some

over the UK, Europe, the middle east and as far away as Singapore.
Here are a few of the comments we have received over that period.
Happy new year, I hope you guys are working hard and making huge
differences to peoples lives. That’s what you’ve certainly been
doing to all of our guests, they’re still talking about you. You are
absolutely amazing, you are the best present I have ever had the
pleasure of giving. Thank you so much for MAKING our special day.
Wedding
We had a wonderful night on Saturday and it’s entirely down to your
surprise act. Our charity ball has been established now for 12 years
and this year’s has been resoundingly been voted as the best ever.
Charity event London
I met with our clients today and they specifically commented on how
your performance made the atmosphere in the room. We look forward to
sitting down with you and coming up with some original ideas for our
future events.

Here is another chance to take
a look at one of our singers, Michael Xavier talking last
summer about his career. He also talks about his role in the
Musical Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods at Regents Park
Open air Theatre, of which he has been nominated for a
whatsonstage award for best supporting actor in a musical. |
The production was also
nominated for 3 other awards. He also talks about his role
in the production of Love Story, which has now opened in

Elegant Entertainment in
South Africa
We are proud to announce that we have opened for business in
South Africa. Having spent the latter half of 2010 on
various fact finding missions in both Johannesburg and Cape
Town, it is exciting to have bookings already in the diary.
South Africa is a great country with lots of interesting and
exciting people and places and we look forward to making a
mark here. We seem to have made the right choice in
identifying Africa as our next big marketplace as this piece

Like any business we rely on word of mouth as a way of building up a
bigger database of clients. As such, we have introduced a new
referral scheme to reward the loyalty of our fans.
It is very easy to follow and one in which we hope will be

Michael’s Love Story
Michael Xavier opens in Love Story at The Duchess Theatre in
London’s west end alongside Emma Williams, produced by
Michael Ball, following a critically acclaimed season at
Chichester festival last summer. Love Story is a
life-affirming musical scored by the Emmy and BAFTA award
winning composer Howard Goodall with lyrics by Stephen

Whatsonstage.com awards
The announcement of this years nominees for the Whatsonstage
awards voted for by the theatre goers of 2011 was greeted
with joy by everyone here at Elegant Entertainment, as a
number of our artistes contributions have been noted for
recognition. With Jersey boys, Les Miserables 25th
Anniversary concert at the O2, 42nd Street , Phantom of the
Opera, Wicked, Passion and Into the Woods all being
nominated in various best musical/production categories, our
artistes involved are delighted. We would like to
congratulate friends of ours Steven Mear, Rachel Tucker,
Jerry Ellis, Scarlett and Summer Strallen and Timothy
Sheader on their individual recognition. However, we would
like to urge you to vote for our very own Alex Gaumond for
his nomination as Best Actor in a Musical and Michael Xavier
for Best supporting Actor in an Musical. Get your votes in

Ghost
The Musical
Paul Ayres is set to open in the new production of Ghost the
Musical set to open in Manchester in March 2011 before
transferring to London’s west end. The production I set to
star Richard Fleeshman, Sharon D Clarke and Andrew Langtree.
The music and lyrics are written by Dave Stewart of The
Eurythmics, book is by Bruce Jeol Rubin (wrote the original
screenplay of Ghost the movie) and is directed by Tony Award
Winner Matthew Warchus.
