Dr Samke J Ngcobo, a Medical Doctor who has been living with Bipolar Disorder Type 1 since the tender age of 14 years old.

She is a passionate mental health advocate who believes that the best advocate about mental illness is the individual who is living with it and experiencing it first hand.

She is  the author of a book called ‘Reflections Of a Convoluted Mind- A Journey With My Mental Illness’ which has garnered an overwhelming positive response from people who are living with mental illness, those who support them and individuals who seek to understand people who live with mental illnesses

Samke is also an experienced keynote speaker who engages with the corporate community and community at large about mental health through Vocal Mentality (Pty) Ltd.

Topics are focused on mental health and wellness and she  uses her story as a source of motivation and inspiration to the audience.
