Africa Soul is a first for South Africa, founded in January 2020 by Beverly Bryer and Adam Howard. Their music is pure soul and blues, taking songs by Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding, and other music superstars from the 1950s and 1960s and giving those 'old' classics a 'fresh' rebirth.
Most notably and distinctively, re-working well-known classics with African harmonies and lyrics, and so introducing music from a bygone period to today's audience of both an older and younger generation, to either remember about or hear for the first time. Our goal is to bring Africa Soul to the private, corporate, and theatrical event markets, to bring you something new, different, and exciting for people of all ages who want to experience beautiful music and exceptional voices - interpretations of an amazing musical era brought to life again in this new decade.
