Where have you gone if you don't know? She has been one of South Africa's best actors for the past 30 years, kicking up a storm in theatres, on television, in films, and on radio. SHE IS A SAFTA AWARD WINNER. She has written, directed, and produced outstanding productions that have all debuted to sold-out houses at the Baxter Theatre. These shows have won critical acclaim at festivals and other theatres across the country.

Nazli George's presentations at the Baxter Theatre have set a precedent, bringing people to the theatre who would not have attended otherwise. Nazli has led the way for other artists, such as Jo Barbers and Mark Lottering's, and she has an exceptionally big fan base across the country.

Nazli continues to push the boundaries of theatre by bringing performances to individuals in the most remote townships or areas. Nazli is a true people's person; the people of Cape Town remain near to her heart, as do her supporters; she has schools in all provinces that frequently support her events, in addition to organisations, clubs, churches, and businesses.

Nazli is a great inspiration to the community; she founded her own production firm, N.G.PROMOTIONS. Nazli George exemplifies someone who never forgets her Rootz.NAZLI GEORGE was born on the 28th of May 1966, an only child in LANSDOWNE, CAPE TOWN, her parents divorced when she was a baby, her mother died when she was 11yrs old, her granny reared her and she is eternally grateful to have had the privilege to look after her granny until she died at the age of 94, Nazli granny was like her mother, she values the teaching and morals instilled into Nazli and her family make the Lord the centre of their lives, and they are involved in their church on numerous levels. NAZLI GEORGE has a close relationship with her extended family, cousins, aunties, uncles, and acquaintances.

She attended Portia Primary School in Lansdowne, where she began ballet at the age of six and joined the Carol Shapiro School of Ballet, where she received CECCHETTI training. After matric, she attended WYNBERG Senior Secondary School, where she was one of the first matriculants to take the joint matriculation board exams in DRAMA and BALLET.

She has won numerous awards while competing in eisteddfods and festivals for ballet and theatre. NAZLI GEORGE has an outstanding resume: she is a theatre graduate of the University of Cape Town, a Trinity College London graduate, an award-winning stage, television, cinema, and radio actress, a drama instructor, a writer, director, and producer of award-winning programmes.

Nazli founded NG PROMOTIONS in CAPE TOWN in 1995 to provide a platform for original South African work. Since then, she has written six top productions that tell our own unique experiences; these productions provide a voice for the once-forgotten people.

NAZLI GEORGE is the author of 30 original songs.

ROOTZ was her one-woman show that she wrote to honour her grandmother and mother, two strong, God-fearing women who influenced her life. N.G. Promotions is a professional production company that, in addition to writing its own original work, takes on the challenge of producing shows and, in many cases, directing them, but also allowing top directors, such as Ralph Lawson and Janice Honeyman, as well as up and coming directors, to work on the projects.

N.G. Promotions has expanded their services; talented children from the communities are cast in the shows; the majority of them have gotten training from Nazli George, and they are encouraged to further their education through N.G Promotions.

Nazli tutors them for College of Trinity exams; the majority of them hold College of Trinity qualifications. Kurt Schoonraad, Aziz Abrahams, Mortimer Williams, Mary Daniels, Webster, Bronwyn Van Graan, Antonio Fischer, José Engelbrecht, Chad Abrahams, to name a few, are accomplished comedians who have landed roles in Egoli, 7de Laan, and played in the top stage and musical productions and worked for top radio stations.N.G. Promotions provides speech and theatre classes and has toured with students to the Klein Karoo Kunstefees and the Grahams Town Festival.

N.G Promotions creates their own unique music in a variety of genres. N.G Promotions is unfunded, and Nazli George has assumed all financial risks. N.G Promotions has been assisting and motivating organisations to help themselves develop a successful fundraising drive for the past 24 years.
