BrotherBrother is a folk-acoustic multi-instrumental band from Cape Town, South Africa. Since late 2016, the musical trio of Paul Avenant, Theunis van der Merwe, and Roelof van der Merwe has been making music and sharing tales.

The trio hails from the Great Karoo (Beaufort West and Murraysburg), and their raw acoustic style is heavily influenced by it. They blend their vocals with a variety of instruments such as acoustic guitar, banjo, bass, harmonica, cajon, and drums to produce lively folk music with lyrics that always tell a narrative.

BrotherBrother launched their first single "Eyes for You" in 2018, and their first EP BrotherBrother was published in October 2019.
