Since moving to Johannesburg 12 years ago, and now the resident saxophonist and singer at the world class Saxon Hotel, west African born saxophonist and singer, widely known as "Femi the black saxman" breathe the corporate sax music that is in demand by the world of events seeking the right entertainers, he provides soothing and beautiful music for corporate events, he puts it all together for your event, music of all genres from the 1930's to He not only performs as a solo saxophone, but also in a duo, trio, jazz quartet, five, and large band groups, depending on the needs of the customer.

Femi Koya, a black saxophonist, is a favourite corporate event saxophonist because he is versatile, performing everything from lounge cocktail and jazz standards to party dance groove music that appeals to people of all races and ages. In the past, he has shared the stage with Andy Klee, Cathy Del Mei, Silver Morgan, John Beveridge, Timothy Moloi, Duane Rockwell, Yvonne Chakachaka, Angelique Kidjo, Pops Mohammed, Baba Maal, Oliver Thukudzi, Ringo Madlingozi, Zonke, and many others. Femi has performed for audiences at The Saxon Hotel, Park Inn Hotel, Sun International, Signature Restaurant, Intercontinental Hotel O.R Tambo, and restaurants across the country.

Femi has appeared at various events, including the Johannesburg City & Tourism Show. Topco HR Awards, NEPAD Summit, Sandton, Brandy Smooth Event Rebranding, Cape Town, Durban, and Johannesburg. Among the events are the Johannesburg Food and Wine Festival, Zoo Lake Afrophonie, African Synergy, Institut Français d'Afrique du Sud, Bassline, and the Orbit Jazz Club.
