Alfred Adriaan is a rising star in the South African comedy scene, having received two straight South African comics' choice nominations for best New Comedian and best Intermediate Comedian. This is important given that he has only been in the comedy scene for three years. This vibrant and enthusiastic young comic has also dabbled in acting, most recently as the lead in the Afrikaans Kyknet film Hospitaal op horing. He also starred as the lead in an online viral campaign for Nokia/Microsoft.
Alfred Adriaan's growing popularity was recognised by Nissan South Africa, who asked him to be a part of their Nissan Magic corporate social responsibility programme to raise awareness and help with the everyday needs of less fortunate South Africans.
