Jem Atkins

After a decade in the comedy industry, Atkins has earned a reputation as a very gifted act and one of South Africa's funniest comedians!

His presentations are filled with high-energy, insightful observations, as well as amusing antics and impressions. His razor-sharp wit creates remarkable audience interactions as he masterfully treads the line between humorous and provocative.

Atkins has performed all around South Africa with the top names in the industry and has been nominated three times for a Savanna Comics' Choice Award ('Best Friend of Comedy'- 2016, 2017, 2018). He hosts the Cape Town Comedy Club on a regular basis and has opened for Barry Hilton on multiple occasions.

Atkins is now travelling his third solo comedy show ("Not Famous") across the country, and his first Australian tour is scheduled for 2020.

He is also an outstanding performer, having been in scores of theatre shows since the age of 13, as well as commercials for YouTube and television.
