Vuyisa Xaba

Vuyisa is a comedian , award winning director and TV producer all the way originally from Mthatha in the Eastern Cape (South Africa) He started comedy in 2014 and hasn’t looked back. He has featured Rise Up Arts festival and performed all over SA and stages in New York (USA) and Liverpool/Manchester (UK). He also became a scriptwriter for MTV’s hit prank show (YouGotGot) and acted in skits for MTV Guy Code ZA and SABC 1’s Verified. Vuyisa finally did his much anticipated, debut one man show , Circus , in Ferndale to a sold out rocking crowd on 23 August 2023. His biggest accomplishments include: Winning a SAFTA for directing and producing Ghosted Africa in 2022 and winning the 2023 International show of the year – Love and Hip Hop SA as co-producer at the prestigious National Reality awards which took place in London on 31 July 2023. The energetic comedian was also part of the inaugural Rising Stars of SA comedy in 2021, where he shared the stage with sensational acts Molokela Makola and Linde Sibande. He also made his UK stand up comedy debut which saw him rub shoulders with the best in the UK and perform at Liverpool’s most popular Comedy Club – Hot water comedy club in August 2023.
