CLIENT BRIEF
A full production show for the year end achiever awards.
The client had never had a show or entertainment before and post COVID they were very excited to celebrate together in a way they’d never done before. The client wanted celebrity performers and a show that highlighted the spirit of resilience and honoured their past year, achievements and struggles in way that bought them all together in a fun and celebratory way.
OUR CREATIVE INSIGHT
We suggested a number of performers that we believed would suit the theme, the demographics of the client and representative of a South African landscape. We suggested a few different options of how this could be executed and what themes they could apply to really create a cohesive and vibrant production.
HOW WE EXECUTED THE PROJECT
After securing all the artists contracts and countless production meetings to get to the final structure of the evening and show down we went into pre production writing all the creative links and putting together a working production schedule. This involved rehearsals and booking and creation of costumes, props, set build and creation of musical backtracks for on the night.
THE OUTCOME
2023 AWARDS
We created an immersive show featuring Aerial and Floor Cirque Acts, Live Musicians, and the incredible vocals of the talented Lloyd Cele and Tracey Lee Oliver. A whimsical show with a ‘Cirque Du Soleil’ feel that felt inspirational and spectacular as we celebrated the many achievements of the organisations inspiring staff. Helping us give that inspirational flow was the talented radio host Bunny Majaja as MC for the night- we even included this talented lady in a surprise song at the end of the evening with our full cast for a spectacular finale!
2024 AWARDS
With a paired down show for 2024 due to internal sentiments we took an existing show with the talented Out Of The Blue Band and their stunning dancers to give them a Legends Through The Ages show. We intertwined the songs choices from the 1980’s to 2024 to tell the story of Life Healthcare, it’s milestones and achievements. The show was fun and quirky and featured the talented Craig Urbani and Mortimer Williams - stars of the stage and screen. The evening was once again brought together by our MC, the incredible Good Guys Things Guy, Brent Lindeque who helped remind us why SA and Life Healthcare are such powerful and inspiration journeys to celebrate!
