Lance Theron is a versatile, multi-faceted and internationally booked DJ, Producer and Recording Artist from Cape Town. Lance is a great entertainer with an instinctual ability to read crowds and adapt to any genre of music needed to entertain his audience. Known for his infectious energy and charisma, Lance Theron, is the perfect brand to create a mutually beneficial AND explosive relationship with.
In 2010, Lance entertained avid football fans during the FIFA World Cup in Cape Town and kept the Fan Zone alive and energized. 2011 was another big year for Lance as he was awarded the title Best DJ on MFM, won first place in the DJ talent search held by Glee Events and partnered with the Dubliner International Group as their resident DJ.
2012-2014 saw Lance embarking on the International DJ tour to Denmark, Sweden and Norway and he still travels to Sweden on a regular basis for these events. Lance has also been a Guest DJ on Good Hope FM’s Night Funk.
Lance performed at the Cape Town Talent Showcase at the CTICC as the guest DJ for the evening festivities and shortly after that, he made his debut on Good Hope FM’s breakfast show with an electrifying King of Clubs set. He blew the crowd away at the Mitchell’s Plain Festival 2016 and was also one of the featured artists at the official Festive’ Lights Switch-On’ concert held at the Grand Parade in December 2016 which performed in front of 85 000 roaring crowd.
Lance started 2017 off with a bang headlining the KFM Coca- Cola Summer Sessions tour where he visited many popular venues in Cape Town and gave his audiences an experience they will never forget.
He had the privilege of playing to 30 000 people at K Day 2017 hosted by KFM, not to mention being the official opening act for MICASA as they launched their 4th album in Cape Town.
Lance has toured the Scandinavian shores for the last six years in Sweden (Gothenburg, Varberg, Stockhol, Halmstad,
Stromstad and Kungshamn) Copenhagen in Denmark, Norway to name just a few.
In 2015, he released a track called Back to You featuring SAMA & Metro FM nominated South African artist Chad Saaiman. The song was co-produced by chart-topping singer and producer Mario Ogle and has had air play in and around South Africa.
The second single, released in 2016 is called Higher and the track features songstress, Candice Thornton.
The song was picked up by major radio stations in Cape Town, namely, 5FM, KFM, Good Hope FM and Heart 104.9 FM. Higher has charted at number 4 on Heart FM’s SA Top 10, number 6 on Good Hope FM’s Hot 30 chart, number 1 on the Good Hope FM SA Top 20 chart and number 8 on the 5FM Top10@10. He appeared on SABC Expresso and Hectic Nine 9 for this single.
