Electric Pops Orchestra

Since its launch in 1998, the Electric Pops Orchestra has thrilled audiences across South Africa. This dynamic group consisting of top professional musicians fuses the symphonic sounds of a small live orchestra with a wide ranging repertoire.

Most performances feature vocalists ranging from up and coming talent to SA’s biggest stars, and from solos to duets, colabs and group numbers. Pop, rock, swing, african, opera – almost all mainstream genres are covered in our repertoire which includes hundreds of titles.

Mark Cheyne has been the Musical Director of the Electric Pops Orchestra since its inception. With 18 years of experience you can expect a performance that will have your audience in a standing ovation.
