In 2013 Jana van der Walt founded harpNOTED – a successful vehicle through which she pursues solo and ensemble performances, with a variety music from classical to contemporary.
What makes harpNOTED truly unique is that she offers the option of a live band for events and weddings. Most harpists have a repertoire that is strictly classical, but harpNOTED believes that every client should have exactly what they want, she is therefore comfortable to customize her ensemble options and music styles to every client’s specific needs.
Duet
Book the Harp & Flute ensemble for a classical and elegant feel, or a violin or cello with Harp for the deep resonating sounds of a string ensemble. If you are looking for something unique with a personal touch, harpNOTED also offers the option of Harp & vocals to provide gentle acoustic background music or slightly more upbeat music depending on the function.
Trio
Book the Harp, Cello and classical guitar ensemble for a truly amazing and unique combination of sound. If you prefer a string trio she also collaborates with violin, cello, viola and double bass. If you are looking for a more contemporary feel, you can book a singer accompanied by harp and cello.
Live Band
Jana loves collaborating with singers to form an upbeat live band option for slightly more upbeat events or pre-drinks at weddings.
