Lefa Mosea celebrated his 10 year anniversary as a professional musician in 2019. He started music when he joined the Vusi Mahlasela Foundation after his Matric year, years later he joined a JAZZ Band from Port Elizabeth Take Note which he departed from late 2013. Together with Take Note they have recorded Two Studio Albums and managed to attract and sign a contract with one of South Africa's major Record Labels Native Rhythms . He released his 1st single as a solo Artist titled Mabele in 2017. Mabele is currently making waves on National Radio stations and receiving a lot of love gradually.
Lefa Mosea has performed across the Southern Africa region in various stages. In November/December 2018 he was touring Lesotho as part of his Mabele Tour sponsored by Concerts SA, Swaziland and Botswana . His performances have blessed stages such as The Joy of Jazz, Ebubeleni Music Festival , Buyel'ekhaya, NMB Cultural Festival , National Arts Festival Makhanda, Ugu Jazz Festival , Port And Dias to name a few. Throughout his journey he has shared stages with the likes of Sbongile Kumalo, Lira, Berita, Asanda Bam and Mobi Dixon, Mafikizolo, HeavyK, ZainSa to mention just a few.
Lefa Mosea has also recorded a few music tunes outside his genre one of which is the most popular song Lover Colour Spin ft. Msaki on Mobi Dixon's Debut Album Tribal Soul. His debut album titled Double Standards was released on the 7th of November 2020 and it has received so much love country wide. The album is available on all digital platforms and hard copies can be purchased from Lefa Mosea directly. Lefa was recently nominated as The Best Solo musician in the Eastern Cape by the Department of Sport and Arts and Culture. Lefa holds residency as one of the entertainers at Boardwalk Casino in Port Elizabeth.
