ALT EGO's self-titled debut album was released in June 2017 and debuted at the top of the iTunes SA Dance Album Chart on the same day. Get Wild, the debut single, has been played on several radio stations around the country and reached at number two on the Goodhope FM Hot 30. In October 2017, a remix of the song by Zambian producer El Mukuka was released in Romania. The second track, Embrasse Moi, was shot in conjunction with Sunglass Hut and is set to be released in November. Notable national appearances include the EDM Night Nation Run Festival and the V&A Waterfront's NYE 2017 ampitherte celebration. They've also appeared at the exclusive Cafe Opera in Stockholm, Sweden. Having built a name for ourselves on the national and international stages throughout our first year, ALT EGO has a lot of potential to explore in the near and long term. We recently acquired our first worldwide record deal with Romanian music label CAT Music, a famous European label that has worked with big musicians such as Edward Maya, who built a name for himself with the smash single "Stereo Love." During the first few weeks after releasing the "Get Wild" remix music video, we earned over 60 000 views on YouTube.
