Boki Ntsime

Fronting B&B on lead vocal with his charismatic, energetic, unique and inspiring performance ability is non-other than Boki Ntsime! Boki exploded onto the South-African music scene with his memorable participation on the hit Television show ‘South-African Idols’ where he placed 4th runner up. Immediately taking the media by storm, he released his debut album called Boki ‘Plugged in’, Boki had an instant hit with the track “Paradise” featuring Proverb and was on the Top 40 Metro FM for 14 weeks and on various other radio stations.One of Boki’s favorite environments to perform in are our awesome local music festivals. He has rocked crowds at festivals like Gariep Festifal, Aardklop, KKnK, Woodstock and The diamonds and deerens festival. He has shared the stage with acts like Kwela Tebsa, Ringo, Vusi, The Parlatones and Kurt Darren.

Brendan Doran

Driving this party bus from the drum kit, on backing and lead vocal is Brendan Doran. With an extensive 15years in music and live performance, Brendan has traveled the globe playing in various bands.The Owner of “Find your groove” drumming school, “Drumology” corporate teambuilding, and “Counterpoint”corporate events, Brendan has proved himself a player in the business world too!KKnK festival, Innie Bos festival, Aardklop, and Woodstock are some of the local festivals Brendan hasperformed at.In 2004 Brendan preformed for the Former South-African president Nelson Mandela with the theatricalrhythmic group Motshito. Brendan has also shared the stage with many established local acts such as YvonneChaka Chaka, Just Jinger, Mean Mr Mustard and Watershed.

Dez Petersen

On lead female vocals, Dez Petersen is the newest member of B&B. After seeing her perform in a popular spot in Melville, we just knew we had to nab her and make her part of the B&B family!It was an effortless and instant integration and has since impressed us all even more with every performance! Dez developed a passion for the music industry at an early age. Singing in different choirs as a child and teen would eventually prepare her for a career in music. With a strong, unique voice and amazing ear for harmonies, it will set her apart from all other female singers in the industry. After being discovered by a local entertainment Diva, Dez clinched her first overseas contract in the UAE and performs there for the next two years before hitting Dar es Salaam and other UAE countries with the famous East African band The Tanzanites. Back at home, Dez is part of many freelance outfits. With 17 years of experience, Dez is considered one of the biggest gems in the SA Music industry.

Nathi Shongwe

The provider of the soulful sounds on the keys is Nathie Shongwe. This Samro award-winning pianist startedplaying at a very early age.With a strong jazz and gospel background and upbringing, Nathie decided to further his studies at TheUniversity of Kwazulu- Natal in 2004, and hasn’t looked back since. In 2010 Nathie was invited by the National Heritage Council to perform at the opening of The Africa Museum in Serbia. Some of the names Nathie has shared the stage with are Simphiwe Dana, Zama Job.

Doulton Robson

Putting the groove in motion on the bass is Doulton Robson with his seamless ability to lay down any bass line that will make your head bounce! Doulton is a man of many talents as he is a teacher of bass guitar, guitar and drums.When Doulton recorded bass on Boki’s debut album Plugged-in, they hit it off immediately! They both knewthat they wanted to work together again. B&B has been the perfect opportunity to take it to the hilt!Doulton has extensively toured S.A. with some of the top Gospel rock acts around, also touring with Great evangelist Angus Buchan. Doulton played bass guitar for David Aldo on his S.A. tour, which included the opening act for all Lionel Richie’s South- African performances!Some of the names Doulton has shared the stage with are Natalie Chapman, Glaskas, Peter Hovin, and Niemand at music festivals like Lucky Fish, Innie Bos, and Aardklop.
