Colé van dais (pronounced Colay van day) is an independent South African singer and independent artist who performs as a solo, duo or as a band. She sings English and Afrikaans, both original music, and chart covers from oldies to current hits in a variety of genres including pop, rock, pop/rock, dance to jazz and contemporary music.
For themed parties, Cole can tailor-make a show to suit your event or she can perform one of her fully outfitted tribute shows with dancers or musicians. Her tribute shows include: The James Bond Golden hits tribute, Madonna & 80s show and ABBA.
Cole has been performing for the past 20 years at 1000’s of events in South Africa, Namibia, UK, Europe, Seychelles and the Mediterranean islands and has shared the stage with many local and internationally famous artists such as Conchita Wurst (and many other Eurovision song contest winners from 39 different European countries), Katrina Leskanish (Katrina & The Waves), Village People, WWF wrestlers, Malaika, Cinema, Just Jinger, Mango Groove, Steve Hofmeyer, Patricia Lewis, and many more.
As an active Human rights and peace activist, Cole had the honour of performing at the Chris Hani tribute concert. She has performed at 100’s of festivals in South Africa such at The Rand Easter show, Klein karoo kunstefees & Aardklop, and touring festivals in Namibia (Windhoek, Gobabis, Grootfontein, Swakopmund), as well as international events such as The Ukkasie festival , Earlscourt festival (performed 3 years in a row and was the main presenter/mc), Pizza on the Park (Hyde Park, London),Nottinghill carnival (the biggest street carnival in Europe), Edinburgh Festival (UK), and toured islands including Cyprus and the Isle of Skye.
