Jennifer Jones’s singing career spans a period of more than 37 years, in South Africa and internationally She has been performing professionally since 1988. She was nominated for a Grammy award for the song: Mandela, Father of the Nation, and won a Kora, NTVA Stone Award and Mayoral Award of Sedibeng District.


In 1997 she became the first South African artist to be signed by an international record agency, Sony Music when the company opened its doors in SA and her hit song, I don’t Mind, released by the label competed for top spot against Tony Braxton’s “Unbreak my Heart” in the SA Top40.


She performed at the opening and closing of the 1995 Rugby World Cup, singing: Where the World Began. She toured with and was opening act for, Michael Jackson on the South African leg of his world tour as well as shared the stage with stars, Dionne Warwick (Opening Act), Tina Turner (Opening Act), M People and Dr. Alban.


She is highly experienced as a talent judge and has judged in a multitude of national talent competitions, such as Zing, Afrikaans Idols Kaapse Jol 2007 “Tiener Kompetisie” and was a coach in flamboyant Patricia Lewis’s, Supersterre 2007.


She performed on massive productions such as Skouspel, Kaapse Jol, Skouspel Plus and a founder artist in the renowned SA producer & creative director, Willie Venter’s, annual Moments Spectacular in Bloemfontein.


She graced the stage for Presidents, Nelson Mandela and Thabo Mbeki inaugurations and performed for our beloved Madiba on seven of his birthdays.
