Acclaimed South African singer, songwriter and producer Leote Taylor has captivated audiences worldwide with her soulful voice and infectious energy. Born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa, Leote discovered her passion for music at a tender age, impressively singing Whitney Houston songs by the age of three. She further honed her craft by studying music at the Tshwane University of Technology, graduating Cum Laude in Performing Arts.
Leote's professional journey took off as a member of the renowned Barnyard Theatre, touring an impressive 13 countries over four years, including notable performances in New York and Turkey. Her talent has graced top live music venues globally and in South Africa, where she held a prestigious seven-year residency at the Sheraton. Her success extended to the charts, reaching #1 on the New York Dance Chart. Leote is currently rebranding with an upcoming 11-track album and tour slated for 2025. Through her production company, LZ Taylor Productions, she is dedicated to empowering young artists and fostering growth in the music industry. Leote is a regular on the local and international corporate event, private event and venue performance scene and has headlined a few major venues and events including the prestigious Vodacom CEO Awards, The Ubuntu Awards and Africa Day in Sao Paulo Brazil to name a few.
