Freek is a television interviewer and news anchor with some 40 years’ experience – specialising in in-depth political, economic and social affairs.
He is currently the main anchor of the Afrikaans news, eNuus, on Kyknet. Previously he anchored several live television current affairs shows. He was the facilitator of the Mandela/De Klerk debate in 1994.
As one of the most experienced and respected television presenters in South Africa he is ideally equipped as a one-on-one trainer of business executives in media skills.
He offers advanced courses in how to handle difficult interviews on TV and radio and how to present professionally in a studio or at home/office on Skype or Zoom.
In a time when large gatherings are forbidden because of the coronavirus, these skills are vital in order to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
Freek is also a dynamic programme director at public conferences and debates, MC at functions and public speaker at events. He is fluent in English and Afrikaans.
