Kelly Eyre is an education professional, thought leader and the founder of Curriculum Collective, where she trains and upskills Early Childhood Development (ECD) teachers while creating practical, developmentally appropriate curriculum. She holds an Honours degree in Counselling Psychology and a PGCE in Foundation Phase, allowing her to bridge emotional wellbeing, child development, and effective teaching practice.
Kelly works closely with educators to strengthen classroom skills and support meaningful, child‑centred learning. As an autistic adult raising an autistic child, she brings valuable lived experience to her work and champions inclusive, neuro‑affirming approaches in early learning spaces. By combining psychology, education, and real‑world insight, Kelly fits the missing piece, connecting teachers, curriculum, and children in ways that truly support growth and belonging.
"We were delighted to have Kelly Eyre present at our recent SAALED Seminar. As a dynamic, engaging speaker, Kelly captured the audience with her practical insights and authentic approach to neurodiversity in education. Her impactful slide about "shovelling the snow off the ramp rather than the steps" really resonated with attendees, driving home the importance of designing for neurodiverse learners to benefit everyone. One participant summed it up perfectly: "Kelly's slide on shovelling the snow off the steps or the ramp really impacted me! So true that if we consider the neurodiverse children, the neurotypical children would also be catered for! A lot of food for thought! Thank you!" Kelly left us inspired, reflective, and ready to take action - we highly recommend her as a speaker who brings both heart and expertise to the stage!"
