Louzanne Coetzee
Free State
Louzanne is a third time Paralympic athlete, a motivational speaker and a sport manager. She breaks boundaries wherever she goes. Louzanne was born blind and competes
in the T11 classification for athletes with complete visual impairment. Her events are the 1500m and the marathon.
Louzanne has done motivational speaking at a variety of events from school events
to large corporates. She has been involved with brands such as Toyota, Profmed,
Spar, Mini SA, and Disney Africa to name a few.
She is currently 31 years old and originates from Bloemfontein in the Free State.
She has an undergraduate degree in Communication Science, a master’s degree in social Cohesion and Reconciliation studies and a post graduate diploma in business
administration.
Louzanne is currently the coordinator for Parasport at Kovsie Sport and a residence
manager at the University of the Free State.

Bronze medal and current world record holder in the Marathon at the Tokyo
