Ongama Mtimka is a passionate critical thinker, writer, and speaker based at Nelson Mandela University in Gqeberha, South Africa. Among his academic and professional qualifications, he holds a PhD in Political Studies and a certificate in Strategic Management from Nelson Mandela University and Rhodes University Business School respectively.

He appears as a political analyst regularly on major media platforms drawing from his extensive multidisciplinary background and expertise. Among others, he has appeared on Newsroom Afrika, CNBC Africa, eNCA, SABC, Sky News, ABC News in Australia, BBC, RT, Al Jazeera English. His commentary and opinion pieces have been featured in major publications such as Business Day & Financial Mail, Mail & Guardian, Sowatan, News24 Online, Reuters, New York Times, and Sputnik News.
