Partington Oswald Mtatabikwa, (IDipNEBOSH, EnvIDipNEBOSH Candidate, SAIOSH.) Partington Oswald Mtatabikwa is a qualified Class 1 fitter and turner who served apprenticeship for four years. He also has the experience of working in the Toolroom as a tool-maker and worked in various industries including manufacturing, cement and lime, mining, construction and power generation for many years as a fitter and turner. On the 4th of June, 2010, Partington’s life took a twist as he got involved in a workplace accident where he was hospitalized for 12 months and lost his limbs. Since then, he has made a conviction to turn a negative into a positive by going around the world spreading the safety gospel, and ensuring that employees take personal responsibility and ownership of safety.


Partington has done talks in numerous organizations and transformed employees’ attitude towards safety. In addition to being a Global motivational safety speaker, Partington holds a NEBOSH INTERNATIONAL GENERAL CERTIFICATE IN HEALTH AND SAFETY, NEBOSH DIPLOMA IN HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT and is currently studying for the NEBOSH DIPLOMA IN ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT. He is also a qualified assessor/facilitator of health and safety courses and has done training in many organizations.
