Lanky Jake is a musician based in Cape Town, South Africa. A self-confessed daydreamer and all round ‘music geek’, Jake (28 years old) is a guitarist, singer, songwriter and music producer.
His live solo sets are a sight & sound to behold. The dynamic multi-instrumental looping sets consisting of keyboard, electric guitar, bass guitar & dreamy vocals, showcase his incredible musical talent.
Having an extensive repertoire of various genres from the old classics to the latest hits, Lanky Jake sets can range from smooth acoustic to funky & upbeat dance music, making him the perfect choice for any event.
He describes his sound as a melting pot of EDM, rock and pop, with a unique catchy edge and lyrics that speak to the heart, highlighting Jimmy Hendrix, Slash, John Mayer, Jon Bellion and Deadmau5 as some of the artists who have influenced him over the years.
