A lifelong explorer, both of the world and the human experience, Katja’s journey has been one of transformation: from decoding systems in the tech world to empowering people to decode their own behaviour and mindset. With a degree in Computer Science from the University of Cape Town, Katja began her career as a programmer in the financial sector. But a transformative six-month journey through Southern Africa in 1995 awakened a deeper calling, to understand not machines, but the complex human systems of thought, emotion, and behaviour. She shifted focus, pursuing a postgraduate qualification in applied psychology and additional training in coaching, systems thinking, mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and somatic experience. Over the past 25 years, Katja has worked extensively as a personal coach, facilitator, and leadership consultant, helping teams and individuals in organisations cultivate awareness, accountability, collaboration, and emotional resilience. At the heart of Katja’s work is a belief in the power of habit. Lasting change is not achieved through information alone, but through rhythm, reflection and action. This sparked the creation of the Habit Packs, a practical tool that bridges the gap between knowing better and doing better, turning intention into practice, one small habit at a time.
