Behavioural Strategist. Culture Architect. Adventurer. Because adventure is just uncertainty with better branding! When leaders understand the science of human behaviour and combine it with an adventurous mindset, they can build teams that trust, adapt, and perform, regardless of how uncertain the landscape is. EErriikk VVeerrmmeeuulleenn. Erik helps leaders and teams perform under pressure by decoding behaviour and designing cultures that thrive in uncertainty. Most leaders think the enemy is uncertainty and risk in an ever-faster changing world sped up by AI. The real enemy is misunderstanding how people behave when they face uncertainty. The problem isn’t motivation; performance comes from understanding that people are inspired when they want to contribute! Most leadership speakers tell stories about courage. Most adventurers talk about risk and resilience. As an accomplished adventurer, Erik connects the two concepts and adds behavioural science to make them practical. He brings the same mindset that leads adventures into the conference room. He’s a behavioural strategist who helps organisations lead through uncertainty by understanding how people think, decide, and act under pressure. He calls this the Adventure Mindset: the ability to turn disruption into design, and fear into focus. For over two decades, he has worked with leading brands to turn complex strategy into behavioural action, helping organisations navigate change, align culture, and inspire real performance where it matters most: in human behaviour. He doesn’t sell motivation. He builds behavioural confidence, the kind that makes people steady in chaos and cultures strong enough to survive change.
